About Asha

Asha Frost Homeopath and Native Medicine Healer

My journey:

My healing journey started at the age of 17 when I started having hair loss, joint pain, purple fingers and extreme fatigue. After doing some blood work, I was diagnosed with SLE (Lupus) and subsequently put on steroids and NSAID’s. Not knowing any better or questioning the doctors, I took them. And they made me feel worse. The side effects from these harsh drugs were too much to handle and something inside of me told that there had to be another way.

Fast forward a few years to when I was in university and I got very sick. My symptoms had worsened and I did not know where to turn to get well. A friend suggested that I see a Naturopath and my journey and love of alternative therapies began. With this Naturopath I was introduced to the magic and power of homeopathy and have not looked back since. I have used this brilliant medicine to successfully treat and heal myself and others. Many of the symptoms no longer exist and the ones that do, are well controlled. Homeopathy has drastically changed my life and has subsequently created an inner longing to share this amazing healing art with others.

For me, homeopathy is not only a medicine to facilitate healing for my body, but it has also touched my soul very deeply. It has opened me something much more magical than simply healing the symptoms of Lupus. It has reminded me of who I truly am, and continues to have a profound role in my healing journey.

I am Asha Frost, Ojibway, Member of The Chippewas of Nawash First Nation (Neyaashiinigmiing). I am a proud Anishinabwe woman who has reconnected to her roots and teachings of the earth. This journey has asked me to go inwards to remember that I have always been divine and perfect. That all I need to “do” is to be myself. In all of my fullness and magnificence. A few years ago, I was given the spirit name: Nenaandawi Waagikaagan Kwe ~ Healing Rainbow Woman and my intention is to assist people in connecting to the beautiful medicines they carry within, so they too, can remember who they truly are.

There are indeed profound healers in our world today. I am so blessed to have experienced one in the sacred work of Asha Frost. Her loving presence, her excellence in supporting both the physical and soul path has been a wonderful blessing to me. I am so so grateful and highly recommend her services and care.

My Education and Credentials:

I received my Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology at the University of Guelph before graduating from the intensive 3 year course at the Canadian College Homeopathic Medicine. Throughout the three years of study I attained a solid understanding of the basic medical sciences including anatomy, physiology, pathology, drug interactions, nutrition and physical examination. My homeopathic medicine training was vast and included such items as homeopathic philosophy, Materia Medica and Therapeutics. Counselling skills were strongly encouraged to develop through the hundreds of hours of supervised clinical practice.

It is my deepest belief that we learn the most through our own healing journey. I feel that my most learning and wisdom has come from doing my own healing work. Over the past 20 years I have done extensive healing work for myself which has included training with Medicine People /Elders from different backgrounds and traditions, workshops, healings, seminars and retreats. My learning is and will continue to be ongoing as I continue to walk this path.
